SANTANA 6, HIGH TECH SD 0

Quite the night it was for the Sultans out on the pitch tonight as they took the High Tech High Storm in a non-league contest.

Santana got the fireworks going right away as Omar Nuristani was able to punch one in right away within the first five minutes to make it 1-0. He would do it again a few minutes later to push the lead to 2-0.

The Sultans would have their way with the Storm in the first half as they dominated the field and would score again to make it 3-0 at the intermission.

More of the same for the Sultans in the second half as Nuristani would score twice and Sam Odenkirk would knock another in to complete the 6-0 route.

Also contributing for the Sultans on the night were Elijah Ordone who had an assist, Devin Winslow who also had an assist and Lane Dukes who had two assists on the night.

Goal keeping wise, Tim Caravero was sharp despite not having to field many opportunities from the Storm. In the second half he was able to make a couple fantastic saves to preserve the shutout.

On the Nuristani scored 5 goals and was named player of the game for his efforts.

With the victory the Sultans go into the holiday with 5-3-2 record and will play next on Tuesday, December 26th at Fallbrook Highschool against Fallbrook in the Socalhighclassic tournament.
