In what looked like a competitive game, in the beginning, turned out to be a runaway for the Braves as they jumped all over the Eagles from the get-go 16-0 to lead after the first period.

Defensively the Braves would go onto hold the Eagles without their first basket until 6:26 remaining in the first half. El Cajon Valley would go onto lead 32-6 at intermission. Leading the way for the Braves were Lilian Akintonde and Mia Jameson who each scored 8 points.

The second half was more of the same as the Braves completely controlled the tempo and half as they outscored Granite Hills 19-8 in the second half.

Defensively the Braves flustered the Eagles the entire night as they were able to shut them out in a quarter and to only a single basket in the fourth quarter.

Leading the charge for the Braves was Vean Gorges who scored 16 points on the night which included a trio of three-pointers, Jameson contributed 12 points and Akintonde scored 11 points on the night.

With the loss, Granite Hills still remains winless overall and in league while the Braves improve to 12-5 and 2-2 in league play.
