LAWRENCE EARNS PFL CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SAN DIEGO – Former Grossmont Foothiller great Anthony Lawrence who set all the passing records while at Grossmont and also put himself in the CIF ALL-TIME RECORD BOOK had a stellar Saturday afternoon against the Butler Bulldogs out at Torero stadium in the Brian Fogerty PFL Classic. On the day he torched the Bulldogs for 367 yards on 26-39 passing and tied his career high in touchdowns with 5 in the 38-17 victory. He also threw no interceptions.  His previous game with 5 TDs came last season against Valparaiso in a 49-10 victory.

With Lawrence’s performance the Toreros were able to win their 28th consecutive home Pioneer Football League game. Based on the performance on Saturday, Lawrence was named Co-Offensive Player of The Week.
