El Cajon – It was all Mount Miguel as they turned the evening into their own friendly confine to the tune of a 58-9 victory.

Shamar Greene quickly put the Matadors in the lead as he scored an early touchdown. The Matadors would extend their lead as Eric Graham in for the injured Mugabee Miller found Greene on a shovel pass who then raced his to way to house for the score.

The Braves couldn’t get anything going offensively and the Matadors took advantage of this as they pushed them around the entire night. Mount Miguel extended their lead to 25-0 as they pounced on a botched snap on a punt and returned it for the score in the second quarter.

Greene would lead the Matadors offensively as he would find the house for three more scores which included a 62-yard screen pass catch. Graham eve got in on the action as he would score his own touchdown.

Defensively the Matadors allowed the Braves to score on a field goal toward the end of the quarter but before that they had picked off the Braves twice.

Mount Miguel would score a touchdown in the second half on a lateraled return from Patrick Chima who took the lateral from Jarvis Heard and return it for the score.

El Cajon got on the board on a score by RJ Hullum.
