Spring Valley – The Matadors scored a couple of times and the defense did the rest as they stymied the Spartans.

Early on for the Matadors it was Mugabe Miller who found Santino Pacheco for the strike in the red zone to make it 6-0. That would be all the scoring as both defenses went to work and showed how hard each hit.

The Spartans actually were able to tie things up just before the half via a sneak of the quarterback.

However it would be Shemar Greene the big back for the Matadors who would rumble his way to the promise land on a 60-yard score.

Again it was the defense that did the rest for the Matadors. Pacheco on the defensive side had over 10 tackles in the contest.
