SAN DIEGO – Trying to stay healthy and make a final push for the playoffs the Christian Patriots did just that as they were able to do anything at will against the host Scripps Ranch Falcons.

Early on though the game was close as Scripps Ranch would put up points first with a field goal. However the Patriots wasted little time in striking as their oiled machine of an offense led by Brad Jeremiah would pounce as he found Nashom Carter for a 12-yard score to make it 7-3.

Christian would extend their lead to 14-3 when Javier Jimenez ramped his way through a hole for 12-yards and a score.

The Falcons would pull within 14-10 on a touchdown pass but that would be the closest they would get as Jeremiah would find Bryce Riepl for 53-yards to the house. It would be a 34-13 score at the break after Riepl pulled in a long one and scored on a double pass.

In the second half the defense got in on the action as both Jesse Matthews and Alexander Gonzalez forced fumbles. Matthews would also haul in a Jeremiah pass and take it in for a score to make it 41-13.

It was all Christian as they never looked back on their way to the route.

SCORE: Christian 61, Scripps Ranch 19

RECORDS: Christian (7-2, 3-1), Scripps Ranch (1-8, 0-3)
