The Santana Sultans traveled out to Steele Canyon to take on what was considered the strongest team in the Valley league and were able to come away with the big victory.

Santana was able to hold on for the wire victory and improve to 6-12 overall and 2-0 in league play which is tied for first place with Valhalla who is also 2-0 in league play.

Leading the charge in the road victory was Aaliyah Stone who pulled in a double-double of 10 points while grabbing 13 rebounds, Lakaila Aquiningoc-David scored 11 points and also had 4 steals, Brianna Jerig scored 11 points and hauled in 6 boards, Bella Terry grabbed 12 boards and contributed 4 points and Isis Taylor grabbed 10 rebounds to complete the statistical output on the night for the Sultans.

Santana has now won 2 games in a row and will look to continue their winning ways at home on Tuesday at 6 pm against Monte Vista.
