Moving along to the second quarter with a three-score lead the Sultans were not satisfied as Temple again struck as he hit Donnie Kelly from 8-yards out to put them up 27-0.

The long-run back by Landers would set up Temple as Deja Vu occurred as Smith hauled in the long pass for the score to give them a 34-0 lead.

After the halftime festivities by the Sultans marching band and cheer squad the game continued but without the starters, as Coach Estes decided to give them a rest.

Early on in the third quarter, the Sultans would extend the lead when Nick Brase punched it in from six yards out.

After the last score to put the game way out of hand the officials declared running clock the rest of the second half.
