Lot of movement after a few teams lost this past week and also some impressive wins as well.

After being stuck in the third position the last couple of week the Helix Highlanders finally moved up to the No. 2 spot. The Mavericks of La Costa Canyon moved up to the No 4 spot after defeating El Camino 38-21 and remained undefeated. The Bulldogs of Ramona moved up to the fifth spot and stayed undefeated with their 42-13 win over Westview. Moving into the 6th spot are the Bishop’s Knights who had a bye this past week. The biggest move of the polls was the Torrey Pines Falcons who jumped back into the poll at the 7th spot after not being ranked after their 38-21 victory over previously 4th ranked San Marcos who fell all the way to No. 8 after the loss.  The Hornets of Lincoln dropped down a spot to No. 9 and moving back into the polls is Carlsbad who were not ranked.

In the others are El Camino after their loss to LCC, the Eastlake Titans after their being defeated by Otay Ranch, Valley Center moving back into the others after their win over RBV, Saint Augustine moves back into the others after their win over Point Loma. Joining Helix as the only other East County squads to receive any votes are Christian who dominated Mission Bay behind Brad Jeremiah’s record setting night and Grossmont who comes back into the poll after their 51-7 victory over El Capitan. Rounding out the others is Mira Mesa who bounced back with a 28-20 victory over the Morse Tigers.
